POSTING NEW MESSAGES WEEKLY ON the MY BLOG Page
Greetings from Pastor Jamie
Hi, just a brief 3 minute video introduction which highlights the root of our ministry. As we move forward I will be addressing, point by point, each doctrine that separates the Church body in an attempt to restore unity. Before we begin let us look at that which binds is together in Christ. I pray, Lord, bring us all back to like mindedness. In Christ, pastor Jamie.
Short message on SERENITY
Too many people stop after the first sentence. Grant me the serenity to accept those things I cannot change. How about trying to go to step two and pray to attempt to make some changes by at least sharing your thoughts with others. Jesus gave sermons, I'm just His messenger so my job is to share the messages that. You can see them on my blog. When viewing on a smart-phone you may need to go left of right to view more messages.
The Nicene Constantinople Creed is a statement of belief intended for all those who call themselves “Christian.” It is full of complex, philosophical thought: every word, phrase, and line matters. Let’s explore some of them together:
1. We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.
2. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made,of one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made.
3. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven:
4. by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary,
and was made man.
5. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried.
6. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
7. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.
8. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father and the Son.
9. With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified.
10. He has spoken through the Prophets.
11. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church.
12. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. (that is baptized in the Spirit)
13. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.
I grew up in Upper Peninsula of Michigan and went to my local high school. After graduation, I joined the navy and have settled in the Pacific Northwest permanently. I recently sold my business after 49 years and now am starting full time ministry; I love it! I live with my wonderful wife of 50+ years Cindy, her dad whom we care-take, and our new puppy (Parker).
I enjoy being retired. Now I am able to spend late hours exploring Gods Word without the worry of having to get up for work. I find the greatest satisfaction in sharing Christ with others wherever and whenever I can.
One of my favorite colors is green, especially during the wet days of winter, because it reminds me of the Green of coming springtime !
